Missed by his twin sister Grace Coghlin and her husband Mac. Dear brother-in-law of Jim and June Campbell of Glencoe, Dan and Pat Campbell of Lucan and Janice and Harvey Walters of Thamesford. Son-in-law of Lillian Campbell of Lucan.

PAINTING Ron – Passed peacefully at the McCormick Home on Friday, July 15th, 2016, in his 91st year. Beloved husband and best friend of Margaret for 70 years. Cherished father of Laurie Farrants (Dan Greenall) and Neil Painting (Barb Sararas). Loving Grandpa to Andrew (Sarah), Jason and Zachary and great-grandpa to Mason. Predeceased by his sisters Vera Jarvis (Charles) and Gloria McCutcheon. Fondly loved and remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ron was a life-time employee at the London Transit Commission and, upon his retirement, enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.  Internment at Woodhull Cemetery. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Fish) Pattison (2013) and the late Elva (Dill) Pattison (1979). Dear father of James A. and Patty Pattison of Etobicoke and Arthur W. and Cheryl Pattison of London. Loving grandfather of Marlene and Ken Hawley, Jason Pattison, Brian and Jennylynn Pattison, Trevor Pattison, Laurie and Brian Dickenson; and loving great-grandfather of Raena, Marlee, Elizabeth, Danika and Avery. Dear brother-in-law of Robert H. and Sue Fish, Nina and Edgar Hurdle and Isabella Dill. Predeceased by a brother Douglas. Interment Denfield Cemetery. PALMER, Ross – Peacefully surrounded by his family at University Hospital, on Saturday, January 23rd, 2016, Ross Palmer, of London, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Agnes (McCormick) Palmer for 58 years. Loving father of Brenda Palmer, Donna Palmer, Ross Palmer Jr. (Karin), Janet Dedato (Frank) and Brian Palmer (Réka). Also loved by his grandchildren Kelsey and Jordan Marshall, Dillon and Shelby Romphf, and Philip and Lauren Palmer. Survived by his sister Shirley Canniff. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Interment of cremated remains at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

SALTARSKI, Edward – Passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on November 12, 2015, in his 93rd year, one day after being honored one more time as a WWII veteran. Ed proudly served overseas as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Beloved husband and best friend, for 61 years, of Jeannette (née McCormick). Cherished father of Judy Wilson (Bob), Marianne Peckham (late Rob), Patti MacLennan, Diana Joschko (Rick) and Grant. Proud grandfather of Bradley, Kirsten, Stephanie, Alexandra, Nichole, Natalie. Brother of Joe Saltarski (Chilliwack, BC). Loving uncle of Donald Cabak, John Kobeleski and Joey Saltarski (Chilliwack, BC). Special thanks to extended family members Regina Carr and Anna Smith. The Saltarski family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Chow and the staff on the 6th floor at University Hospital. Visitors will be received at JOHN T. DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME , 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday November 16th from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street, London Ontario, Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date. Prayers Monday evening at 8 o’clock. Ed was loved and will be missed by so many who have called the Saltarski house home over the years. In lieu of flowers donations to the MS Society will be appreciated.

SCASE, Graham Matthews – Peacefully passed away on Friday, November 13th, 2015 at Parkwood Hospital, London in his 97th year. Loving husband of 74 years to the late Dorothy Elizabeth Scase (nee French). Father of Carlyle (Irene), Darryl (Sandra) and Kathryn (Larry). Survived by 6 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. As per Graham’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Those who wish may make memorial donations to CNIB in memory of Mr. Graham Matthews Scase.

SWEENEY, Earl – Peacefully, on Thursday, August 21, 2014, Earl Raymond Sweeney of London passed away at age 89. Beloved husband of the late Gladys Sweeney (2009). Devoted father of David and wife Lisa. Loving brother of Betty Thorne, and the late Gord, Lloyd, Roy, Norm, Irene and Ruth. Good friend of his late brother-in-law George Thorne. Also mourned by nephews and nieces in London, Southwestern Ontario and Quebec. Earl worked for the London Transit Commission from the 1940s through to his retirement in 1988, driving the Dundas route for 35 years. They nicknamed him “Mr. Dundas”. The family wishes to thank PeopleCare and their staff, particularly the RPNs and PSWs, for caring for Earl. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. “Best Pop in the World”.

SMITH, Richard – Peacefully surrounded by his family at University Hospital, London, on Saturday March 29, 2014, Rick Smith of London in his 66th year.

Beloved husband of June Marie (Thompson) Smith for 42 years. Dear son of Helen Smith and the late George Smith. Loving father of Mark (Jill) and Stacey. Cherished grandpa of Lily. Also missed by his sister Janice Smith and predeceased by his brothers Larry and Russell. Cremation has taken place.
